The purpose of the Diversity Conference is to foster an in-depth and meaningful exploration and discussion of issues surrounding privilege, oppression, and diversity among the University at Albany, the city of Albany, and the Capital Region communities. Our 22nd Diversity Conference, Campus to Community: Culturally Conscious Research and Practice, aims to help both undergraduate and graduate students across fields to build collaboration and develop interests in diversity-related research and practice.

9:45-10:15   Presentation by Dr. Julia Hastings from the School of Social Welfare
10:30-11:30   Keynote Address by Dr. Cristina Muniz de la Pena - "Terra Firma Clinic: A New Model to Promote Mental Health and Justice for Unaccompanied Immigrant Children"
11:45-12:15   Presentation by Dr. Alex Pieterse from the Division of Counseling Psychology
