The University at Albany provides designated parking areas for students, employees, and visitors. Parking & Mass Transit Services uses a license plate recognition (LPR) system for vehicle parking registrations. Please use our Parking Services Portal to purchase a parking permit or pay a fine.
The UAlbany bus system and the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) offer reliable transportation both on and off campus, making it easy for students and staff to travel. 2026-2027 semester parking permits will be available July 2026. All 2025-2026 parking permits remain valid through August 31, 2026.
