    Academic Advising

Building strong partnerships with students to support them throughout their academic journey.

Helping you achieve greatness

Academic Advising supports your success from orientation through graduation. We can help you achieve your educational goals, improve your academic performance and connect you to resources and opportunities at UAlbany.

You will have a dedicated advisor throughout your college career. In addition, you will have a departmental advisor once you declare a major.

Want to speak to an advisor?

The Academic Support Center (LI-36) offers drop-in advising for all undergraduate students Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Monday through Friday morning the drop-in advisor is available in person in the Academic Support Center.
  • On Friday afternoons, the drop-in advisor is available by Zoom.
