Academic Programs

According to AASHE STARS, Sustainability Learning Outcomes may be specified at the Institution Level, Division Level, Program Level and/or Course Level. The credit includes both graduate and undergraduate programs, and encompasses majors, minors, concentrations and certificates. Sustainability Learning Outcomes are statements that outline specific sustainability knowledge and skills that a student is expected to have gained and demonstrated by the successful completion of a unit, course, or program. It does not have to use the term "sustainability", but must address sustainability as an integrated concept of social, economic, and environmental elements.
