Big Purple Growl & Ferocious Feast
February 7 - 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Come gather with UAlbany alums and fans for a pregame feast in the PE Gym and get your commemorative t-shirt before the UAlbany men's basketball team tips off against UMass Lowell in the annual Big Purple Growl game, Saturday, Feb. 7. This year, take a shot at trivia and in game contest for some great UAlbany prizes! The feast is open 4:30-6:30 p.m.; game tips off at 7 p.m. at the Broadview Center.

Join Coach Colleen Mullen and the Great Danes Women's Basketball Team for the 8th Annual Great Danes Bowling Classic on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 10 am - 1 pm at Apex Entertainment, Crossgates Mall. All money raised will directly benefit our student-athletes and their experience at UAlbany!

Executive MBA Fuels Career Growth for Massry Alum Irene
Michael Irene, a program manager at the NY CREATES Albany NanoTech Complex, Irene credits his executive MBA program with transforming how he approaches complex challenges and leads teams in a cutting-edge environment.
Irene, ’18, was recently featured in the Times Union, where he discussed working within the semiconductor industry.
