UAlbany Recognizes Inventors During Research and Entrepreneurship Week
ALBANY, N.Y. (Nov. 16, 2023) — From filing a first disclosure to an issued patent, the process to take an invention from an idea to the marketplace can be long and arduous. As part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair, UAlbany recognized the faculty, staff and students who submitted a patent application in the past year, during the University’s Research and Entrepreneurship Week.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair featured displays from the Small Business Development Center, the UAlbany Innovation Center, Innovate 518 (Capital Region Innovation Hot Spot), Office for Innovation Development and Commercialization (Tech Transfer Resources), NSF I-Corps, Blackstone LaunchPad, The Research Foundation for The State University of New York (SUNY RF), NYS Center of Excellence in Nano-Electronics and Nano-Technology and the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center.
