About
The Halvorsen Lab is primarily interested in developing easy to use technologies for the detection and analysis of biomolecules. In one focus area, they employ DNA nanotechnology approaches to detect and respond to RNAs and other molecules for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. In another focus area, we develop and use tools for high-throughput single-molecule analysis to better understand how biomolecules interact with each other.
