Student Engagement & Belonging (SEB) helps students connect, get involved and find a true sense of belonging at UAlbany. We support students’ growth both inside and outside the classroom through:
Our mission is to serve as a dynamic hub of collaboration and resources where empowered Great Danes build leadership skills through community connections, social responsibility and campus traditions that unleash greatness. Whether you are looking to get involved, build leadership skills, serve the community or find spaces that affirm who you are, SEB is here to support your journey.
The Campus Center provides a convenient place for a diverse community to socialize, collaborate, get involved, experience events, enhance the quality of student life and contribute to the University’s co-curricular and educational mission.
Our centers and events offer inspirational spaces to build a foundation of personal connections, deepen self-exploration and practice allyship and advocacy skills.
Orientation supports the transition of new students to the University at Albany. During this exciting new chapter, we will be here every step of the way to connect you and your family with the resources you need to be successful.
Student Activities enhances the UAlbany experience by connecting you to meaningful co-curricular opportunities that foster engagement, personal growth and success beyond the classroom.
UAlbany Votes is our campus-wide non-partisan initiative to foster participation in the democratic process by encouraging students, faculty and staff to register to vote. Students can also learn about the candidates, issues that will be on their ballot and engage with the elected officials who represent them.
Student Engagement and Belonging celebrates the outstanding achievements of students who work to make our campus community great.
