Dr. Elizabeth Buckner, Assistant Professor of Higher Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University in Toronto gave a talk on "The Growth and Differentiation of Private Higher Education in the Arab Middle East and North Africa" to Faculty and Students of the Department of Educational Policy & Leadership (EPL). Professor Aaron Benavot Presents at World University President's Congress in Seoul, Korea
On 4 February 2020 EPL Professor Aaron Benavot was invited to give a keynote presentation in Seoul, Korea at the World University President’s Congress. Titled “Peace Education and Global Citizenship Education: What Roles Can Universities Play?”. Dr Benavot discussed the challenges and contradictions universities must face if they are to contribute to education for peace and global citizenship, especially in light of their country’s international policy commitments to sustainable development.
