On April 23rd, Dr. Aaron Benavot led a ZOOM seminar for Educational Policy & Leadership graduate students on global education challenges emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic. He provided background information on past global progress in education as well as initial global responses to extensive school closures and the situation of school provision in two local settings: Peshawar, Pakistan and the Bahamas. Participants were asked to consider possibilities for bolstering current international policy agendas or creating new ones in a post-pandemic future. Dr. Benavot’s presentation was followed by a Q & A session on the global policy implications of COVID-19. Link to recorded session Access Password: EPLSP20!!
