Explore the Showcase Schedule

1. Download the UAlbany Showcase app to your mobile device.
   • iPhones: Download the app from the App Store.
   • Androids: Download the app from Google Play.
2. Open the app on your device. Note: You may choose to create a user profile, as prompted, for a more personalized experience. You must validate your email address to activate your profile.
3. Under "Next," click "UAlbany Showcase."
4. Click "Download Guide" and agree to the terms of service.
5. Click the menu icon (three yellow lines) in the top left corner to explore the app.

If you don’t want to download the app, you can view the schedule in a web browser. 

Access the Showcase app’s menu by clicking the three yellow lines in the top left corner of the app.  

The first four options in the menu will allow you to explore the Showcase schedule and plan your day:

• Presentation Abstracts: Review short descriptions of each presentation, organized by academic department. It’s a simple way to dive deeper into presentations and find exactly what interests you.
  • Looking for a specific student or presentation title? Select the Control and F keys on a PC, or the Command and F keys on a Mac, on your keyboard to search each department’s page.
• Schedule: Review the entire Showcase schedule in chronological order. You can tap any session to learn more, including the presentations included in the session and their academic department.
• Tracks: Tracks are curated categories that group sessions by school/college, academic department, strategic pillar, presentation type, and more. Select a category you’re interested in and browse all related sessions. 
• My Schedule: Review the sessions you’ve added to your personal schedule.
  • To add a session to your schedule, click the plus symbol next to the session name.  
  • To remove a session from your schedule, click the check mark symbol.
  • You can also opt into receiving notifications from the app to attend your selected sessions as their start time approaches. 

Looking for a session, presenter, or location? The Showcase app makes it easy.

Tap the three yellow lines in the top-left corner to open the menu. Then, select the magnifying glass in the top-right corner to begin a search.

From there, you can quickly find presenters, tracks, locations, schools/colleges, and more.  

The search tool is designed to help you navigate Showcase efficiently — so you can spend less time looking and more time experiencing.

Note: To search the web-based version of the schedule, select Schedule and then use the search field to search sessions. 

Access the Showcase app’s menu by clicking the three yellow lines in the top left corner of the app.

Select “Maps” to access an event maps of UAlbany’s Uptown Campus, Campus Center, Massry School of Business, Lecture Centers and ETEC.

Each session’s location is listed under the session’s name. To explore sessions and plan your day, please see the instructions for accessing the Showcase schedule above.

Note: Maps are only available in the app, not the web-based version of the schedule.

• General Info: Access the app homepage, which includes a general event description.
• Partners: Explore the external and internal partners who helped make UAlbany Showcase a reality.
• Notifications: Access notifications sent via the Showcase app, such as reminders to attend sessions you’ve added to your schedule or general announcements from event organizers.
