Structural Chemistry Core is a shared research facility in Life Sciences Research Building providing modern instrumentation and techniques in the fields of spectroscopy, spectrometry, calorimetry and related scientific areas to the faculty, staff and students of College of Arts and Sciences. The Core services are also available to other colleges of University at Albany, scientific institutions, and industry companies.
The Core facility is directed by Dr. Vladimir Ermolenkov. The Core director provides mandatory training of researchers and technical help in performing of all procedures if the director’s assistance is requested. The Core instruments are located on the first and second floors in the South Wing of Life Sciences Research Building.

Fluorolog-3 fluorescence spectrometer for steady-state and lifetime measurements
