Annual giving under $1,000
Our gratitude and the UAlbany magazine are sent to all Albany Society donors. If you share your Facebook username or Twitter handle when you make an online donation, we’ll also send you a social media shout-out. Twitter shout-outs may even include your very own GIF from the UAlbany Fund.
Annual giving from $1,000+
In addition to a note of gratitude from University leadership, the latest issue of UAlbany magazine and monthly insider updates from the University, 1844 Society donors also receive a UAlbany wall calendar and invites to exclusive UAlbany events. At events, we are pleased to recognize donors with special 1844 Society donor ribbons. Social media shout-outs (GIF included) are shared with donors on Facebook or Twitter.

Any outright gift, pledge or planned gift of $25,000+
Carillon Society members receive personal acknowledgment and gratitude from the UAlbany President and Vice President for Advancement. Donors are also invited to exclusive events with University leadership and are recognized with unique nametag ribbons. Insider news and updates, a UAlbany wall calendar, and UAlbany magazine are also shared with members.
Donors establishing an endowment will also receive an Endowment Recognition Certificate signed by the President and Vice President for University Advancement, an annual Endowment Impact Report, as well as an opportunity to meet with students and faculty who benefit from the endowment.
Donors who give three or more years in a row
Our loyal donors receive invites to exclusive events on campus for as long as they remain members of the society. Consecutive giving of 5, 10, 15, and 20 years are also commemorated. At 25 years, donors are recognized with a Loyalty Society lapel pin and special commemoration.

UAlbany Faculty and Staff who donate at any level
All UAlbany faculty and staff donors are invited to attend an annual recognition event with the President and University leadership. Donors are also invited to various campus events throughout the year. A personalized thank you note from University leadership and a UAlbany wall calendar are also shared with donors with our thanks.
Donors who have included UAlbany in their estate plans
A welcome package, planned giving newsletter, commemorative lapel pin and special acknowledgement from University leadership are sent to all members who join the Heritage Circle Society. Donors are also invited to attend an annual luncheon in honor of all Heritage Circle Society members as well as various campus and emeritus events. Donors wear a special Heritage Circle Society ribbon at each event. Members also receive a UAlbany wall calendar each year, and insider news about the campaign and special initiatives at UAlbany.
