Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) – LIKE YOU – help to enrich the student experience by contributing to a variety of funds and initiatives at UAlbany. You are instrumental in helping students receive much needed financial aid, explore career and internship options in unique and valuable fields, and participate in renowned educational conferences and programs.

UAlbany Cares
UAlbany Cares includes three funds that support our students in times of need. The Emergency Relief Fund provides funding to students facing a financial emergency. The Purple Pantry addresses food insecurity among UAlbany students. Purple Threads is a free professional clothing closet available to current students. Make a gift to UAlbany Cares.
Student Scholarship Fund
For many students, scholarship support means the difference between fulfilling educational goals or falling off the path toward their degree. Your support can be critical to our students' success. Make a gift to the Student Scholarship Fund.
EOP
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at UAlbany provides admission opportunities for economically and educationally disadvantaged undergraduate students who are residents of New York State. Make a gift to EOP.

The mission of the GOLD 1844 Society is to increase awareness and philanthropy among recent graduates in support of UAlbany’s students, faculty and staff, academic programs and research initiatives. By engaging GOLD alumni and increasing donor participation, the GOLD 1844 Society strives to develop lifelong relationships between UAlbany and its alumni.
