The Class Gift
Each year our students, parents and campus community celebrate our graduating class by giving back in a way that reflects our individual passions. Choose the cause that speaks to you – you can direct your gift to areas of campus such as academic departments, student programs, sports teams or student scholarships, to name a few! Every gift to any designation will be part of a collective legacy that honors our time together and supports the next generation of Great Danes.
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! As you prepare to say farewell to campus you have a special opportunity to be a part of the graduating Class Legacy. It’s a new tradition of giving that connects you, our newest alumni, to the next generation of students who will follow in your footsteps.
Members of the graduating class who support the Class Gift, or UAlbany designation of their choice with a gift representing their class year ($20.26) will be recognized for their generosity at Commencement!
By making a gift representing your class year ($20.26+) you will receive a special purple and white generosity cord to wear at Commencement and to symbolize your gift to future Great Danes. Purple because you are forever a Great Dane and white for being a proud donor.
