The Class Gift is one way for UAlbany students and parents to make an impact at the University at Albany, and serves as a living tribute to great memories, an outstanding education, and a bright future.
UAlbany Cares represents opportunities to support our need based programs on campus such as: the Purple Pantry - our on-campus food pantry; Purple Threads – our on-campus professional clothing closet that provides current UAlbany students the opportunity to acquire much need professional attire at no cost; and the Student Emergency Fund – to specifically assist those students experiencing unforeseen financial hardship or emergency.

Members of the graduating class who support the Class Gift, or UAlbany designation of their choice with a gift representing their class year will be recognized for their generosity at Commencement!
By making a gift representing your class year you will receive a special purple and white generosity cord to wear at Commencement and to symbolize your gift to future Great Danes. Purple because you are forever a Great Dane and white for being a proud donor.
