The 1844 Society represents the University’s most exclusive donor recognition level. Gifts of $1,000 or more to the UAlbany Fund – designated to specific programs or given wherever the need is greatest – are the institution’s most flexible source of private support, allowing us to direct resources where they are needed most and respond to the evolving needs of a 21st century University.
Your 1844 Society gift creates more scholarships, more internships and research opportunities, and more innovative programs that prepare students for success. In fact, the 1844 Society annually yields more than 1,000 donors who collectively contribute more than $10 million to the University.
