UAlbany Biologist Awarded $3.3M for Research on Kallmann Syndrome and Olfactory Development
Paolo Forni has received two grants totaling more than $3.3 million from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The funding will support his work studying Kallmann syndrome and related disorders affecting fertility and olfaction.

Biology Major Sydney Hanson recognized at Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS)
The Biological Sciences Department congratulates Sydney Hanson, a B.S. in Biology major with a minor in Sociology, for being named the top Oral Presenter in the scientific discipline of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from November 13th to 16th.
