How can Veteran & Military Student Services help?
Veteran and Military Student Services (VMSS) supports UAlbany’s military-connected students — including veterans, dependents of veterans, active-duty personnel, Reserve members, National Guard members, and ROTC cadets.
VMSS helps students secure military educational benefits and strengthens our community through veteran-centered events and activities. Our services include:
- Certification of military benefits, as well as financial aid and billing assistance
- Assistance with discounted campus parking
- Advising the Veteran Student Group
- Referrals to and assistance with other campus support services
- Veteran Lounge, in Campus Center Room 320 (contact us for the access code)
