University at Albany

The University Student Health Services Pharmacy is staffed by Registered Pharmacists who are available to fill prescriptions and answer medication questions for students. Prescriptions may be filled at no cost (up to a $100 cap) at the University Student Health Services, limited to items in stock, each fall and spring semester. Students must pay an additional fee for:

  • oral and other contraceptives
  • nasal steroids and anti-histamines
  • over the counter medication
  • any medications dispensed during the summer semester
  • medications above the cap each fall and spring semester.

Due to New York State law requiring all prescirptions to be sent electronically, beginning March 27, 2016 the UAlbany Pharmacy will only be able to fill prescriptions generated by a UAlbany provider.
