CEHC Uses 3D Printers to Fulfill a PPE Need
Students, faculty and staff at the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC) partnered with the Office of Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance to donate 250 reusable “ear savers” to workers at the New York State COVID-19 vaccine site on campus. CEHC volunteers have used their 3D printing expertise to support PPE needs since the start of the pandemic. The ear savers provide comfort to those wearing face masks for extended periods.
