The CEHC Student Ambassadors Program develops student leaders who foster community, support student success, and inspire future Great Danes to pursue careers in cybersecurity, emergency preparedness, homeland security, informatics, information science, and game design and development.

Student Ambassadors

CEHC Student Ambassadors are a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate student leaders who serve as champions for the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity. Through their leadership, mentorship and engagement efforts, ambassadors help foster a welcoming and inclusive community where students feel connected, supported and empowered to succeed.

As representatives of CEHC's academic programs in cybersecurity, emergency preparedness and homeland security, informatics, information science and game design and development, ambassadors share their experiences with prospective students and families while helping current students build meaningful connections within the college.

Ambassadors support a variety of initiatives designed to strengthen student engagement and recruitment, including Open Houses, Accepted Student Days, orientation programs, campus visits, virtual information sessions and outreach to high school and community college students. Through these efforts, they help prospective students discover the opportunities available through CEHC while contributing to a vibrant and supportive student experience.

Whether welcoming a new student to campus, mentoring peers, leading a tour of ETEC or sharing their journey as a CEHC student, ambassadors play a vital role in building community, promoting student success and inspiring future Great Danes.
