
PAC Presents a Festival of New Plays Showcasing Student Talent
A rich experience in theatre for student playwrights, actors and directors, FRESH ACTS: A Festival of New Plays will present six new works April 20-23 in the PAC.

Student Researchers Aided by CURCE Funding
Nineteen students received small grants last fall to offset expenses directly related to their research or creative projects with University faculty, including attending conferences, purchasing materials and covering tuition for related course work. Spring recipients will be announced next week.

Their topics are on Russian relations.

Tillman Extolled by American Academy for Fiction and Writing Mastery
For her achievements both as a writer of fiction and literary and cultural criticism Lynne Tillman was named last week the winner of the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ Katherine Anne Porter Award, “to a prose writer whose achievements and dedication to the literary profession have been demonstrated.”
