About Us


The SPA office seeks to deliver support services to the campus community in an efficient and professional manner in regards to sponsored research activities, while adhering to the policies of the University at Albany, the Research Foundation for The State University of New York, sponsor guidelines, and all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws/regulations.

The office assists in promoting research activity on campus by serving as a resource for researchers providing policy/procedural guidance, training, support, and advice to aid researchers in the development, submission, acceptance, and management throughout the life-cycle of research proposals.
