UAlbany students enrolled in the Community & Public Service Program (CPSP) are responsible for finding the non-profit or public organization where they will volunteer for 35, 60 or 100 hours for RSSW credit.
Use the resources below to identify CPSP’s nonprofit and public partners for volunteer opportunities. You may volunteer virtually, in-person or a hybrid of both for RSSW credit.
This page is a great way to start your search and find partners’ contact information. CPSP staff are also available to help with the search process. Stop by the CPSP Office (Social Science 112) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for drop-in assistance.
Need to fulfill additional hours? You can discover even more volunteer opportunities on Engage UAlbany, the university’s official online platform connecting students to campus organizations, events, and community service initiatives.
No car? No problem! Find mass transit to your service site. Riding CDTA and UAlbany buses is free with your UAlbany ID. Or you can find a virtual opportunity to volunteer from anywhere.
Note: Opportunity details are subject to change. Please confirm the latest schedule, application process and requirements with the organization’s listed Primary Contact before registering.
