Associate Professor Melinda Larsen's expertise includes organ formation and tissue engineering.

Her research focuses on deciphering the molecular mechanisms controlling branching morphogenesis, a process required for the development of many mammalian organs, including the lung, kidney, prostate, mammary glands, and salivary glands.

Larsen's interests also include the molecular basis for organ morphogenesis, molecular biology and cell biology.
