A Dream Play
By August Strindberg
Adapted by Caryl Churchill
Directed by Angela Ledtke
In this modern “Everywoman” play a young woman sets out on a journey in the course of which she encounters life’s wonders, contradictions and absurdities. August Strindberg’s dream world comes alive with fresh, contemporary resonances in this adaptation by leading feminist playwright Caryl Churchill.

Directed by Chad Larabee
On an island where everyone’s in love with someone, but no one’s in love with the someone who loves them back, a castaway may be able to set everything right. Twelfth Night is a classic tale of gender-bending hijinks, mistaken identity, and the quest for true love. “If music be the food of live, play on.”

The UAlbany Theatre Program productions serve as learning labs for our students. Due to COVID-19, the Theatre Program's fall productions (and possibly spring productions) will be online, virtual performances, provided free of charge. This means the program will not have any box office income this year, which normally helps cover a large part of our production costs. Please consider making a gift to the program.
