ITS Staff

Office of the VP and CIO
The Vice President and CIO has campus-wide responsibility for IT policies, programs and services and serves as the executive leader of ITS.

Client Support Services
The first point of contact and support for students, faculty and staff using University technology resources and facilities. 

Enterprise Application Services (EAS)
Responsible for planning, implementing and managing enterprise-level information system applications for the University.

Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS)
Responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of the University at Albany’s IT infrastructure services. The scope of responsibility includes enterprise-level computing, server and storage services; telecommunication (voice and data) services, Data Center services, and related activities.

Educational Technology Center (ETC)
The Center is designed to serve as a focal point for faculty to fuse teaching with technology through an array of services, including learning management systems, video capture, classroom technology support, educational technology consulting, and test scanning. Whether teaching fully online, blended, or in the traditional classroom, ETC will provide faculty at UAlbany with the resources needed to support and assist teaching excellence and innovation.

Chief Information Security Officer
The Chief Information Security Officer is a campus-wide resource for questions and concerns regarding best practices on information security. 

Academic & Research Computing Center (ARCC)
Provides core IT services for grant-seeking and funded researchers and their high-performance computing projects.
