Courses

New Electives for Senior Engineering Students

The training program includes three new elective courses on offshore wind energy technology, available to senior engineering students across all departments in CNSE and to SUNY Polytechnic Institute students in the Engineering Technology department. 

Offered in two consecutive academic semesters, these courses are tailored to provide hands-on experimental learning to complement capstone course topics.

  • I NEN 426 Offshore Wind Energy Engineering: Fundamentals and Application (3 credits)  
  • ETC 406 Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Systems of Wind Turbines (3 credits)
