Jen Goodall
About

Jennifer Goodall is the Vice Dean of the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity at the University at Albany. She joined the University in 2001 as an adjunct after completing the INF PhD program at UAlbany.

During her tenure at the University, Dr. Goodall launched the University’s only online undergraduate degree, the Informatics BS degree. She has also led efforts to increase gender diversity in technology through curricular and pedagogical initiatives and outreach programs, including the Junior FIRST Lego League Expo and Social Robotics Workshop.

Dr. Goodall served as an extension services consultant with the National Center for Women & IT and an equity consultant for STEM faculty search committees at the University of Virginia.

She holds a BA, Classical Studies, Tufts University; MA, Classics, Tufts University; and a PhD, Information Science, University at Albany.
