The UAlbany RNA Institute celebrated "RNA Day" on Friday, August 1 at the conclusion of the RNA Institute's Summer Program which featured poster sessions and special announcements from Governor Kathy Hochul and SUNY Chancellor John King about the use of AI in biotechnology research.

George Spencer III is a rising senior majoring in Biology at the College of Arts and Sciences. This summer, Spencer is studying proteins involved in wound healing as part of an internship in the surgery research unit at Albany Medical College.
