Showcase Day is open to all and free to attend. Join us from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, on UAlbany's Uptown Campus.

Pre-event Resources
Throughout the day, you will be able to attend poster fairs, oral presentations, demonstrations, panel discussions, recitals, art exhibitions and performances. During these events, you can interact with UAlbany students and ask questions about their work.
Here are some resources to help you make the most of your visit:
Parking & Mass Transit
Showcase sessions will be held in various locations on UAlbany's Uptown Campus and at ETEC, the University’s hub for innovation, scholarship, applied research and commercial development.
- Parking: There will be free parking for attendees in any student parking area.
- Mass Transit: UAlbany is accessible by multiple CDTA bus routes.
- Trolley: Most presentations will be within walking distance of each other. However, a free UAlbany trolley will be available for trips around the Uptown Campus and for rides to and from ETEC.

Dining Options
UAlbany offers a wide selection of dining options. 518 Market accepts cash payment, but all other vendors only accept credit and debit cards.

Health & Safety
- Backpacks and large tote bags are prohibited in Showcase venues.
- All participants must adhere to the University’s Prohibited Items & Activities during Events Policy. This policy includes a prohibition on weapons, as well as tobacco and smoking products.
- Visiting school groups must provide adult chaperones for their students, with a ratio of 10 or fewer students per chaperone, as required by New York State education law.
