Get Involved

There are countless ways to get involved with UAlbany and our vibrant campus community. Here are a few ideas:

  • Donate Funds: The UAlbany Fund is an opportunity to invest in your child’s home away from home. Donations are used to enhance the quality of student life and support programs that directly benefit your child’s experience on campus.

  • Share your Perspective: Opportunities such as the Student Affairs Advisory Board and parents panels offers families an opportunity to enrich the UAlbany student experience by serving as a link between the University and the parents of undergraduate students. For more information, please contact Lisa Gonzalez at [email protected].

  • Donate Food or Clothing: UAlbany's Purple Pantry and Purple Threads programs are always looking for non-perishable food, toiletries and professional clothing.

  • Volunteer: The Alumni Association offers several ways to give back to the campus community, including mentorship.

  • Post Job Opportunities: Does your company offer internships or entry level jobs? Visit the Career & Professional Development website to post opportunities for UAlbany students.

  • Visit Campus: Take advantage of the outstanding opportunities we have to offer by exploring our Community Resources. Follow UAlbanyGO on Instagram and explore the University Events Calendar for the latest events on campus.

  • Post Volunteer Opportunities: Does your nonprofit or charity need volunteers? Visit Engage UAlbany to post opportunities for UAlbany students.
