Student Affairs & Enrollment Advisory Board

About the Advisory Board

The Student Affairs & Enrollment Advisory Board is a team comprised of alumni, parents, business and industry partners, and K-12 educators who provide strategic input and feedback to the Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment on programs, services and activities that promote student life, enhance the student experience, and support student success at the University at Albany.

Topics include but are not limited to student life, health and well-being, leadership, diversity, public engagement, career development, and national trends in higher education affecting the student experience. The Board may perform additional functions as agreed upon by the Vice President and the membership of the Board.

  • Enthusiastically advocate on behalf of the University and the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment both in your community and at University events
  • Support the Student Life Fund at a leadership level annually as part of the 1844 Society
  • Cultivate additional support by identifying and encouraging others to invest in the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment at UAlbany.
  • Attend one in-person meeting each September during Family Weekend and at least one additional virtual meeting each spring
