Community-engaged research is a critical part of the University at Albany’s mission, and our students, faculty and researchers make significant, novel contributions to help address societal challenges in the Capital Region, New York State and beyond.
We invite you to visit campus during Showcase Day to see how, as a public research university, UAlbany is an important resource — and partner — for the community.
Join us from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, on UAlbany's Uptown Campus. Register to attend.
Once you register, download the Whova app to explore presentations, interact with other attendees and access the Showcase program. A PDF version of the Showcase program is also available for download.
UAlbany Showcase will highlight and celebrate student excellence through displays and exhibitions of undergraduate and graduate research, scholarship, creative endeavors and applied and experiential learning.
You’ll be able to attend poster fairs, oral presentations, demonstrations, panel discussions, recitals, art exhibitions and performances. During these events, you can interact with UAlbany students and ask questions about their work.
How to Attend
Showcase Day is open to all and free to attend but registration is required.
Events will be held in various locations on our Uptown Campus, including the Academic Podium and the University Art Museum, as well as ETEC, the University’s hub for innovation, scholarship, applied research and commercial development.
Most presentations will be within walking distance of each other. However, a free UAlbany shuttle will be available for trips around the Uptown Campus and for rides to and from ETEC. There will also be free parking on campus.
