The RNA Institute welcomes collaborative and contractual partnerships within UAlbany, other academic institutions and industry organizations from the Capital Region, New York State and beyond.

Working together advances our mission to develop and deliver tools, analytics, and early stage discoveries necessary for the progression of RNA-based therapeutics and diagnostics.

Center of Excellence in RNA Research and Therapeutics (CERRT)

The CERRT is a joint venture between the RNA Institute at the University at Albany and the University of Rochester's Center for RNA Biology with a focus on using RNA research as a tool for training the next generation of high-tech STEM workers in New York State.

Part of our mission is to work with New York biotech companies to create a pipeline of trained workers to directly contribute to New York State research and innovation
