Adrian Masters is a professor of economics. He teaches macroeconomics at all levels and labor economics at the undergraduate level.

His research focuses on applications of search and matching theory. The approach recognizes that most economic interactions occur between small numbers of individuals who may have difficulty finding each other. He has used this approach to study labor markets, marriage, intermediation and the role of money in society.
