Postdoctoral Associate Position Opening

The University at Albany seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to join a multi-institution team studying the economic effects of research doctorates using linked employer–employee, firm, patent/bibliometric, and R&D data. Supported by an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grant to the University at Albany. Work is primarily in a Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC). This role advances cutting-edge academic research: constructing and linking restricted-use data; documenting reproducible code and data products; and co-developing methods and empirical design with the team. The postdoc will coauthor journal articles, prepare technical/summary reports, present findings, and collaborate on grant proposals. Mentoring and professional development are integral.
