About

Jason Corace is an award-winning game designer and educator whose work focuses on the exploration of games and play. He holds an undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College and an MFA in Design Technology from the Parsons School of Design. He was the founding director of the MICA Game Lab at the Maryland Institute College of Art, founded the Game Arts program at the Pratt Institute, and has taught at the Parsons School of Design and NYU.  He has researched and developed projects with Unity Technologies, BIcycle Games, Trust In Play, Johns Hopkins University, The Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Innovation, The Maryland Blended Reality Center, The Walters Art Museum, Arlington Arts Center and Art Works for Change. His work has been exhibited at the New Museum, Ars Electronica, the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, Vector Arts Festival and the Arlington Arts Center.
