This past fall the origination and Dr. Lenart secured their second Diversity Transformation Award from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for their efforts to promote inclusion within the campus and local community. The Executive Board has also created a free afterschool dance program in partnership with Albany City School’s Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST). In the Fall their show, “Focus On Me” held in the campuses Preforming Arts Center was widely successful. During the spring semester, they offered exciting new dances in the Performing Arts Center. The group is always open to new opportunities and collaborations. “I couldn’t be prouder to represent such a hard working group of UAlbany Students,” said Hope Tallon, the organization’s President.
