The University at Albany Alumni Association (UAAA) has received a 2024 Alumni Association Inclusive Excellence Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education.

Thanks to a Diversity Transformation Award grant presented by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, efforts to support the self-reliant scholars initiative are back on track.

Each May, the U.S. celebrates Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month as a time to reflect on and celebrate the history and achievements of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders nationwide.

The University at Albany’s Massry School of Business is being highlighted by Insight Into Diversity for its ongoing leadership in social mobility. The School has won the 2023-24 Inspiring Programs in Business Award for its EY Leadership Education in Accounting and Diversity Program.

The girls spent the day at ETEC participating in hands-on activities and discussions with CEHC students, faculty and staff.

The inaugural class of fellows was selected based on their proven leadership and administrative experience, and their pursuit toward a higher education career in administrative and leadership roles within SUNY.

The day-long conference will include panel discussions on history, politics, power, policy and the future. Speakers and presenters include scholars and faculty from UAlbany as well as Columbia, Colgate, Skidmore, RPI, Siena and Russell Sage, as well as students and activists.

The Dr. Nuala McGann Drescher Leave Program provides funding for junior faculty in tenure-track positions to take research leaves that can enhance their goal toward tenure. UUP-represented staff can apply for leaves for professional development that will assist in their getting permanent appointment.
