Applying For Housing

Welcome to the Department of Residential Life at the University at Albany!

Whether you are a new or returning student looking to be housed on campus for the Spring 2021 semester, you must submit a housing application in order to be placed on campus.

Please note: Residents currently assigned to housing for the Fall 2020 semester do not need to apply for Spring 2021 housing. More information will become available February 1, 2021 for students wishing to sign-up for next Fall, 2021.

Filling out Your Housing Application

For continuing students the housing application will be available on Monday, November 2, 2020.

For all new Spring 2021 students the application will be available Monday, November 16, 2020.

Tips for Applying

  • If you are planning on living with friends, you will need the NetId's of the students with whom you wish to live.
  • Please read all instructions on the application to ensure that you have properly applied.
  • Please read all terms and conditions outlined in the Residence Hall License and the Student Code of Conduct.

Paying your Housing Deposit

Housing Deposits can be paid Online via Epay
  • Log into Epay
  • Select eDeposits at the top
  • Select Spring 2021 Term
  • Select Room Deposit
  • Select Payment Method

Please note: Not all roommate requests can be accommodated. Housing assignments are determined by availability. This includes any special interest housing request, and/or roommate requests.
