The graduate certificate in Very Large Scale Integration provides an overview of the principles needed to design the layout and architecture of integrated circuits for logic and memory used in the high-volume manufacturing of microelectronics. The program is designed for professionals working in the semiconductor industry who want to learn new skills, increase the depth of their knowledge, and advance their careers. Use of virtual design tools is incorporated throughout the curriculum. An undergraduate degree in a related area of engineering or similar is required for admission.

1. Ece 520 (Csi 522) Introduction to VLSI (3)
2. Any two of the following courses:
- Ece 521 Digital ASIC Design (3)
- Ece 522 Integrated Circuit Devices (3)
- Ece 523 Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits (3)
