Open to applicants that have a major or minor in education or a related field. This program does not result in certification in Teaching Students with Disabilities, but rather, is designed to prepare general education teachers to teach students with disabilities in inclusive classrooms. This program does not require any practicum or internship experiences and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.

- Spe 658 Curriculum and Instruction: Collaboration, Strategies, and Differentiation (3)
- Spe 669 Educating Students with Emotional Disorders and Challenging Behaviors: Advanced Tiers of Support (3)
- Six credits of Literacy electives as advised (Ltl subject area)
