The School of Education’s Dean’s Excellence Awards were developed by the Dean’s Student Leadership Council as a means to recognize the outstanding achievements of students within the School of Education. These awards broadly recognize the contributions of students that positively influence the academic, research, and community engagements of the School. Each awardee and their family will be invited to the School’s annual spring awards ceremony and receive a $250 scholarship (which will be applied to each student’s University account at the end of the spring semester and subject to all university rules and policies).
The four awards are Excellence in Research, Excellence in Leadership & Service, Excellence in Teaching & Mentoring, and Excellence in Social Justice & Advocacy. Students may apply for one of these awards.
Please note, the Dean’s Excellence Awards are separate from the School of Education Scholarship process. You may apply to both the School of Education Scholarships and to the Dean’s Excellence Awards.
