The University at Albany's School of Education welcomed nine new faculty and staff members this fall, and will welcome another this spring. They bring research, experience and expertise on many subjects, including K-12 and postsecondary teaching and learning, school psychology, and a range of specialties in counseling psychology. Nuha Alshabani (PhD, University of Akron) is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of Counseling Psychology.
Macey Arnold (PhD, University of North Texas) is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of Counseling Psychology.
Maggie Bryant (PhD, Baylor University) is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning.
Diane Yan Dai (PhD, Auburn University) is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of Educational Psychology and Methodology.
Angela Datri (MS, University at Albany) is assistant director of field education for early childhood/childhood education in undergraduate teacher preparation.
Marie Dougé (PhD, University of Florida) is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of School Psychology.
Erin Faeth (PhD, University at Albany) is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning.
Sarah Jerasa (PhD, University of Houston) is an assistant professor in the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning. Sarah joins us in January.
Lindsey Kaler (PhD, Boston University) is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of Special Education.
Alex Pieterse (PhD, Teachers College, Columbia University) is a professor in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology’s Division of Counseling Psychology.
