Jill DelTosta

Dr. Jill DelTosta is a clinical assistant professor in the School of Education's Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology, Division of Counseling Psychology. Dr. DelTosta joined the University at Albany faculty in 2025, currently teaching in the areas of group counseling, multicultural counseling, and supervision and consultation, and providing clinical supervision. As a clinician, Jill practices as a generalist with a focus on holistic trauma treatment with diverse populations in varied clinical settings, most recently including private practice and VA hospitals. A developing area of interest has been exploring research and the practical use of psychedelic medicine as a tool in psychotherapy. She also has interest and volunteer work experience in community crisis response.
