Dr. Kostelnik joined the faculty in 2015. Prior to that, she was on the faculty at Alfred University and completed risk assessments and expert court testimony for the New York State Office of Mental Health, Division of Forensic Services. Currently, Dr. Kostelnik serves as the Division Director and Director of Field Training for the School Psychology CAS and PsyD programs. She is the university supervisor and course instructor for Field Experience I: Practicum in School Psychology and Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) Internship in School Psychology. She has also taught the following courses: Psychoeducational Assessment III: Behavioral and Social-Emotional, Social Psychology: Foundations in Professional Psychology, School Crisis Preparedness and Intervention, and Psychoeducational Intervention III: Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy. Dr. Kostelnik is deeply committed to helping school psychology trainees develop skills to positively impact children, families, and other stakeholders in practice. Her primary interests include clinical supervision and school psychology training issues.
