Alyssa Kamara smiles in front of a poster. On the poster, headings of white text in purple boxes organize the information. The headings read: "Introduction," "Methodology & Data," "Discussion," "Conclusions," "Sources," and "Results."

We are excited to announce that Alyssa Kamara, a junior majoring in Public Health and Economics at UAlbany, has been selected as the winner of the UAlbany Showcase Future Leaders in Policy Competition. Alyssa's presentation, titled "Growth in Common Ownership in Medicare Part D Providers" supervised by Professor Pinka Chatterji, impressed the judges with its clarity, research, and innovative policy solutions.

As the winner of the competition, Alyssa has been invited to work with a Rockefeller research team to develop a blog that will share her work with policymakers and the general public. We are confident that Alyssa's project will be of great interest to our audience, and we are thrilled to work with her to share it with them. Upon completing the blog, Alyssa will receive a stipend of $300.
