The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department hosted a wonderful series of sessions at the 2026 UAlbany Showcase. Congratulations to all the students who shared their research, scholarship and creativity at this important event! Among them, WGSS MA Student Raneem Affifi won one of the UAlbany Showcase awards for the presentation of her film "Gender (Studies) is Burning." Congratulations, Raneem!
The WGSS Showcase featured MA final projects, poster sessions, a film screening, undergraduate exhibits on global gender issues, a fashion show and a dance performance.
