Mobile ID

The new CBORD Mobile ID App is an extension of your UAlbany ID Card. The app allows you to access the same services as going to the ID card office and UAlbanyID.com, but much more! 

With the touch of a button you can:
  • Add/change a meal plan 
  • Add campus funds 
  • Check your campus fund balances 
  • Deactivate/reactivate your ID card 
  • Send fund requests  
  • Receive notification alerts 
  • Make dining and bookstore purchases 
  • View dining menus and hours  
  • Check LaundryView 
  • Access Zipcar 
  • Access campus maps/walking directions 
  • Pick-up mail at Mail Services using a quick barcode 
  • Check bus schedules and more!

Installation Instructions:

  1. Download CBORD Mobile  ID from your phone’s app store  
  2. Choose ‘UAlbany’ from the server list  
  3. Log in with your NetID and password   
  4. Set up your pin  
  5. Enjoy

 


Registers

  1.  Launch the Mobile ID app 
  2. Enter your pin 
  3. Enter the Mobile ID Location Number of the unit you wish to make a purchase from. 
  4. Swipe the card on the app to generate the bar code
  5. Have the cashier scan your code to make purchase

Alerts

  1. Launch the Mobile ID app 
  2. Enter your pin 
  3. Select myServices from the bottom right corner of your app
  4. Scroll down and select Notifications on the menu
  5. Tap on phone number and enter at the top 
  6. Agree to the terms and conditions
  7.  Select send confirmation code 
  8. Enter confirmation code in the field below once you receive it
  9. Tap confirm and save to sign up for alerts

Download the app and sign up with your Net ID between July 1, 2019 – September 20, 2019 to be entered to win a new 175th Anniversary commemorative ID card and other prizes!
